Lute FP Absolutely fantastic doom right here. I’m gonna call it “blackened progressive art doom”, sounding like something Opeth could have done if their roots were in doom rather than black metal.

Crystal clear production with gloriously clean guitar and bass tones. The vocals are variously crooned, bellowed, and chanted, and the songwriting is intricate and highly musical for all its heaviness. This is a good one.

Faerie Ring take what would be a cookie cutter riff from anyone else and just JUICE it so thoroughly, with passion and energy and melodic interest and the all-important rhythmic groove (much more important to a good stoner riff than loud fuzz), that it just blows out your speaker and makes you mean mug.
